Murder Arrest over Primrose Hill Stabbing
A 27-year-old individual has been taken into custody on suspicion of murder after Finbar Sullivan, a 21-year-old man, was found fatally wounded in the Primrose Hill area of north London. Emergency responders were dispatched to the location on Tuesday, where Sullivan succumbed to his injuries before medical assistance could reach him.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed the arrest of a 25-year-old man for aiding the perpetrator. Both suspects were detained on Friday and are currently being held for further investigation. Authorities have not yet disclosed additional details about the incident.
Police Statement on Ongoing Inquiry
“We are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the tragic event,” said Det Insp Andy Griffin. “While two individuals have been apprehended, our team is diligently working to identify all parties involved. My condolences go out to Finbar’s family, who are receiving support from specialized units during this challenging period.”
Griffin also expressed gratitude to the public for providing information and urged anyone with footage or insights from the area on the day of the attack to contact the police. He noted that increased patrols will be visible in Primrose Hill and nearby neighborhoods as the inquiry progresses.
